Open Doors Grant for two projects

At this year's festival in Locarno, the Open Doors Grant for production has been given to two projects: DAY AFTER TOMORROW by Kamar Ahmad Simon, Bangladesh and THE RED PHALLUS by Tashi Gyeltshen, Bhutan.

The Open Doors Grant of 50'000 Swiss Francs is a prize funded by the Open Doors initiative in collaboration with the Municipality of Bellinzona and the Swiss fund for production support Visions Sud Est, financed by the Swiss Foreign Ministry’s Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). This year, two projects have been chosen for the production grant:

DAY AFTER TOMORROW by Kamar Ahmad Simon, Bangladesh, 30'000 Swiss Francs
THE RED PHALLUS by Tashi Gyeltshen, Bhutan, 20'000 Swiss Francs
