Dakar Trottoirs

Siirou is a young 12-year old boy, who for the first time in his life takes the « blue train » that will lead him to the plateau, a part of the city center where he'll wander around until the night closes in.

Salla, a 10-year old friendly and charming little girl accepts a beautiful piece of jewellery from a man she doesn't know and whom she meets outside of a bar, where he's distributing money to a bunch of begging kids in rags.

Siirou observes the scene from the shadow and follows this gang of jolly children who have caught his attention. Salla notices him and this way the meet.
Ten years go by... and Siirou and Salla become a couple. But Salla has different dreams...
« Dakar Trottoir » is the intense love story between Salla and Siirou, in the microcosmic univers on the « sidewalks » of Dakar. In this place, every dream is allowed, but many times they turn into nightmares.
