Ronnie Monroy has had an unmeaningful life as a public employee. About to turn65 and face retirement he discovers the Women’s Prison, where he finds a newpurpose. He helps inmates recover their freedom and start life anew. But whatseems driven by generosity and affection, is really guided by a perverse need toexert power.
