During the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999, Vlada gets a new job. As a truck driver, his mission is to transport a heavy load from Kosovo to Belgrade. He is driving through unfamiliar territory and does not know what the load in the truck’s back is. Vlada picks up Mihailo, a youngster hitchhiking in the middle of nowhere. The consequences of the bombing are visible everywhere around them. During the hours the pair spends traveling across the country, they discuss their everyday lives and bond, becoming friends in a way.
