In the ghost city of Cairo, just before midnight, Mariam leaves home at such a late hour for the first time in her life. Her night is full of manipulation and other physical and emotional obstacles as she finds her way in a patriarchal society. Overcoming them one by one, she faces her own limits, blurring the line between the real and the unreal.
