November 2013. Super Typhoon devastates the city of Tacloban -MIGUEL, 23, wakes up in the middle of a ravaged landscape. He roams the ruins in search of the two women in his life: his girlfriend Andrea and his mother, Norma.With relief, Miguel finally finds NORMA and ANDREA and convinces them to leave for Manila with him. Despite the rivalry of the two women, each one desperately wanting Miguel's allegiance, all three of them begin to discover and witness slowly how the town has been ultimately devastated as they journey towards the port.Their journey is disrupted with strange and absurd encounters between religious radicals, scammers trying to benefit from the situation,being violent and aggressive. When Norma learns that her former husband, LUIS, is hurt, Norma finds an excuse to go and look for him. Meanwhile, Andrea, followed a strange impulse and accomplishes a small miracle that immediately propels her to the rank of "Saint". The crowd embraces her in triumph as Miguel losses contact with Andrea.Miguel must decide whether to stay or to leave town on his own as the as the next disastrous storm is on its way ready to devour him and the only home he knows.
